The task of a loudspeaker magazine is to develop assembly kits and present them in detail. The structure, crossover, measurement diagrams, intended purpose and sound description are almost always worth a report, which helps the reader decide whether or not to buy an assembly kit. Sometimes, though, it’s just about making a few small changes – like switching out a chassis or a home theater addition, like the active subwoofer that we thought up and measured out just in case we might need it some day.
